To be added to the database (Medical List), residents must provide their name, address, phone number, and Doctor approval prior to the scheduled outage. During unplanned outages residents will not be notified and will need to provide for their personal power needs. Residents with medical needs will need to be prepared for power outages. The Power Department has a medical list that will be used to notify residents that are affected in the area of a planned outage. Please take the necessary steps to be prepared for outages, planned and unplanned outages. Planned Outages - Oxygen/Life-Saving Equipment Once our crews arrive on the scene, they refine the estimated restoration time based on the damage and estimated time to repair.Ĭheck the website and city FB page for continued updates. The initial estimated restoration time is approximately two hours (or less) from the time the outage occurred. The estimate is based on average restoration times in the area and our overall system. When outages occur, crews work 24/7 to restore power as quickly as possible. ![]() ![]() The Power Department strives to provide expedient and efficient response to restore power in the event of an outage.
